2013: Aug 22, Paul Poberezny passed away at the age of 91. Poberezny began flying in high school. He served in WWII and Korea. In 1953 Poberezny organized what would become the EAA, Experimental Aircraft Association. The EAA fly-in became the largest in the world, meeting in late July in Oshkosh WI. Poberezny is a true legend in general aviation and his legacy will live forever.
