glad to see some new baits for us to take... this one is Cavalier F-51D Mustang 67-14863 built under MAP "Peace Condor" for the Bolivian AF; it is seen here at Cavalier (former TFA) premises at Sarasota, FL. The a/c was officially sold to Bolivia on 27th June 1967 and delivered in October of same year; in Bolivia it became FAB-516; this a/c eventually was lost in a crash at Lake Titica on 10th August 1970. The people on the photograph appear to be the entire (?) Cavalier staff, with late CEO David Lindsey standing in the cockpit. Time-frame is mid-1967.
