Get ready for some loud, slow and close racing action. The T-6 class is always competitive and you know when they are racing - LOUD. Their course measures 5 miles. The aircraft are fairly stock versions of the T-6 Texan, the Canadian built Harvard and the Navy version - the SNJ. They are taped up heavily to seal off all unwanted drafts on that big airframe.
The T-6 class uses an air start that comes right down the home stretch pass the home pylon. It is common to have wing to wing racing in this class.
